About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher – Electrical, to join our electrical team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess Certificate II, III, and IV electrical training programs and industry-recognised professional development
  • Lead a team in designing and improving educational materials and services
  • Maintain compliance with VET, ASQA, and internal quality standards
  • Support student wellbeing, learning progress and re-engagement
  • Engage in course promotion, industry consultation, and validation

Skills and Experience Required

  • A minimum of 5 years' recent experience in the electrical industry
  • Electrical qualification relevant to the department (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to teach across multiple electrical qualifications and exams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in compliance, curriculum design, and student engagement
  • Desirable: Knowledge of LMS platforms and vocational education trends

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
